Country Wedding Favors

Rustic wedding themes are getting popular and ideas for country wedding favors abound.
Here are helpful tips and ideas rustic and country-loving brides can incorporate for their country themed wedding.

Country Wedding Favor Ideas For A Fall Wedding

  • Caramel Apples
  • caramel apple favor Caramel apples are great wedding favors, especially for a rustic fall wedding. The only problem with this is that they can get expensive fast! I would suggest making your own caramels. You can wrap them individually in waxed paper. Just find an easy recipe. Caramel apples can be made ahead of time and stored in a freezer, but not longer than a month.

  • Fall-Shaped Cookies or Cookie-Cutters
  • Are you the type of bride that loves to bake? Consider giving away cookie cutters in the shape of an apple, maple leaf or pumpkin. Include a recipe card that shows how to make sugar cookies.

Another idea is to bake fall shaped sugar cookies, and color your dough with the colors of your wedding. You can get bags at craft stores or party stores that have a twist tie top, place some pretty tissue paper in the bottom, add some cookies and tie with a ribbon.

Summer Country Wedding Favors

  • Seed Packets
  • Little seed packets or tiny flower pots are great wedding favors during the summer season. If you are in a budget, you can buy "peat pots" from Lowe's or Home Depot, fill each with a bag of potting soil and tiny bag of seed. Wrap each pot in tulle (use your wedding color)and tie with ribbons and gift tag identifying what type of seeds were inside. If you have more money, use mini ceramic pots to make it look nicer.

  • Spring-inspired Bottle Stopper
  • Having a wine-themed country wedding during the summer? Pick a cheery springtime favor like this blooming flower bottle stopper. They are useful, and will remind your guests of the fun they had at your wine country wedding.

Typical Western Wedding Favors

  • Horseshoe Favors

  • horseshoe cookie favor It will not be western if there's no horseshoe in the mix somewhere! Different ideas for horseshoe favors include a horseshoe-shaped key chain, horseshoe shaped cookie favors and horseshoe cufflinks!

  • Western Decorated Cookie Favors
  • Shortbread cookie in the shape of cowboy hats, cowboy boots and cactus.

  • Western Hat Favors
  • Candles in the shape of western hats can be used to dress up tables at your western themed event. If your budget allows, you can have a stack of authentic western hats as wedding favors to greet your guests. This will certainly make a great impression on your guests.
